The Misamis Oriental Provincial Hospital-Gingoog (Mis.Or.PH-Gingoog) is the core referral hospital of the Gingoog Bay Alliance ILHZ, composed of 4 municipalities and 1 city namely, Magsaysay, Medina, Talisayan, Balingoan and Gingoog City. It is also the only government hospital in Gingoog City. The nearest tertiary health facility which is Agusan del Norte Provincial Hospital is 95 kms away, but most of the patients prefers to be referred at Northern Mindanao Medical Center in Cagayan de Oro City which is 125 kms away. Hospital clients are mostly walk-in patients from the city proper, distant barangays and referrals made by catchment RHU’s, Private Clinics, Misamis Oriental Provincial Hospital-Talisayan, Misamis Oriental Provincial Hospital-Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental Provincial Hospital-Claveria and First Misamis Oriental General Hospital (FMOGH) formerly Medina Hospital. It also offers services in Anesthesiology, ENT-Head & Neck Surgery, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Radiology, Urology, and Clinical Laboratory

Mis.Or.PH-Gingoog has twenty one (21) physicians holding plantilla positions, three (3) under DOH Post Residency Deployment Program PRDP) and thirteen (13) consultants.

A Legacy of Care, A Future of Excellence.

We kicked off Day 1 of the MOPH-Gingoog City Founding Anniversary with gratitude and grit. From the solemnity of our Prayer Mass to the high energy of the Motorcade and Hip-hop competition, the spirit of service has never looked so vibrant. Ending the day with Laro ng Lahi reminded us that at the heart of our mission is the community we play for and protect.
