The Office of the 2nd Congressional District of Davao Oriental conducted the distribution of relief goods to the patients of Davao Oriental Provincial Hospital-Governor Generoso today, October 13,2025.

Further, in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross - Davao Oriental Chapter, a mobile kitchen was set up to serve freshly prepared lunch to the watchers, volunteers and on-duty hospital staffs.

Following the recent earthquake, the Municipal Engineering Office together with the Bureau of Fire Protection-GovGen and MDRRMO, conducted an inspection and structural assessment of the DOPH-GG building to ensure the safety and integrity of the facility.

Partial, unofficial report:
-Only Minor cracks due to earthquake noted
-Building is safe for occupancy

🏥 Mayor’s Visit Amidst the Earthquake 🤝
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Mayor Kulot Inojales for personally visiting the hospital to check for any damages and ensure the safety of our patients and staff after the earthquake.

The mayor also graciously shared arozcaldo with our hardworking staff, patients, and their watchers — a warm gesture that brought comfort during a stressful time. 🍲💛
