Pampanga Medical Specialist Hospital solemnly observed Ash Wednesday with a Holy Mass today, February 18, 2026, held at the PMSH Arcade. The celebration marked the beginning of the Lenten season, a time of prayer, reflection, and renewal for the faithful.
The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. Howell Suarez, who led the blessing and imposition of ashes. In his homily, he emphasized the importance of repentance, humility, and deepening one's relationship with God throughout the Lenten season.
Beyond the Mass attendees, admitted patients, their families, and dialysis patients were also given ashes, allowing them to participate in this significant Lenten tradition. The occasion underscored the hospital's dedication to holistic service-caring for both the physical and spiritual needs of its community-while promoting faith, unity, and compassion within the PMSH community.
