RISE Clinic successfully conducted HIV awareness symposium and Free HIV Testing & Counseling to the Armed Forces of the Philippines based in Camp Monteclaro, Miagao, Iloilo.

HIV awareness and testing are not just health issues but they are critical to the strength, resilience, and honor of the Armed Forces. A well-informed and healthy force is a stronger, more unified, and mission-ready AFP.

Let us remember the ABCDE strategy to prevent contracting HIV:

A - Abstinence
B - Be Mutually Faithful
C - Correct Choices such as Consistent and Correct Use of Condoms and Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP)
D - Do Not Share Used Needles
E - Educate Yourself

We conducted a successful HIV Testing & Symposium with the brave men and women of the Bureau of Fire Protection - Guimbal.

This collaboration aims to promote accurate knowledge and dispel myths related to HIV/AIDS, Encourage voluntary HIV screening and routine health checkups among fire personnel and promote inclusive and non-discriminatory environments in uniformed services.

The International AIDS Candlelight Memorial, observed annually around the world, serves as a powerful reminder of the ongoing fight against HIV and the importance of compassion, awareness, and community support.
