Sa pagdiriwang ng National Women’s Month, pinagtitibay ng PDAO Gumaca ang paninindigan nito sa pagtataguyod ng karapatan at kapakanan ng bawat kababaihan, lalo na ng mga kababaihang may kapansanan. Sa huling Lunes ng buwang ito, may espesyal ring paggunita para sa Women with Disabilities.

Sa temang “Lead like the Babaylans, Filipinas!”, nawa’y magsilbi tayong lider na may malasakit, tapang, at integridad... nangunguna hindi sa kapangyarihan, kundi sa pagkalinga at pagkakaisa.

Panahon na upang ang bawat Filipina ay manguna para sa isang lipunang pantay, makatarungan, at tunay na inklusibo para sa lahat.

Bago ang Prom, capability building muna para nasusulit ang pondo ng gobyerno. 💗✨💃🕺💄💅🪩

Nagkaroon ng Make-up and Personal Confidence Workshop muna ang mga women with disabilities sa hapon upang ihanda sila sa gabi para sa InspiraSHINE, an inclusive prom for persons with Disabilities and advocates. Ito ay ikalawang taon na ng malikhaing programa para sa sektor ng Taong may Kapansanan at mga tagapagtaguyod nito.

Lahat ng ito'y ginagawa ng lokal na pamahalaan para sa inklusibong Pilipinas! 🙂🇵🇭

Diskarte Lab Empowers Entrepreneurs with Disabilities in Gumaca

GUMACA, QUEZON — The Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) Gumaca successfully conducted a two-day training entitled “Diskarte Lab: An Inclusive Livelihood and Enhancement Program for Persons with Disabilities” yesterday and today, aimed at strengthening the skills and capacities of business owners with disabilities in the municipality.

The initiative is a collaborative effort of PDAO Gumaca, the Local Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (LEDIPO), and the DTI Negosyo Center Gumaca, highlighting a unified commitment to inclusive economic empowerment.

Isang karangalan para sa PDAO, LGU, at Sektor ng Taong may Kapansanan sa Bayan ng Gumaca!

Ngayong araw, natanggap ng PDAO Gumaca mula kay G. Vladimir Rocafor, MLGOO ng Gumaca, ang kopya ng Certificate of Recognition mula sa DILG Region IV-A CALABARZON, matapos makamit ng ating munisipalidad ang 100% Overall Rating na katumbas ng “IDEAL” Level of Functionality sa ilalim ng 2025 Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO)/ Focal Person (FP) Assessment (CY 2024 as year under review).

Ang pagkilalang ito ay patunay ng ating sama-samang pagsisikap na itaguyod ang isang komunidad na inklusibo, may malasakit, at nagbibigay ng pantay na oportunidad para sa lahat.

Patuloy tayong maglilingkod at magbibigay inspirasyon para sa bawat Persons with Disabilities!
