Graduating students began trickling in, signing their names and preparing for a day designed to bridge the gap between school and the professional world. Job Ready Kasubay 2026 officially commenced with the preliminaries. Prof. Frelyn S. Cordero, Coordinator of SAS, set a welcoming tone with her opening remarks, emphasizing the institution's commitment to student success. This was followed by Armie Ann V. Sapalo, Guidance Counselor and Coordinator of CJPU, who delivered the rationale, laying out the "why" behind the program.
Mr. Benjie M. Requintina from DOLE Antique provided a comprehensive talk on Labor Education for Graduating Students. He walked the soon-to-be graduates through their rights and responsibilities, ensuring they enter the workforce as informed and protected employees. Ms. Myra E. Pe followed with a Pre-Employment Orientation Seminar (PEOS), offering a pragmatic look at the requirements needed before signing a contract.
The afternoon shifted toward global horizons and personal branding. Dr. Nemia H. Mabaquiao shared career opportunities with the International Talent Circulation Base, opening eyes to career paths that transcend borders.
While Day 1 focused on learning, Day 2 was dedicated to action. Representatives from Pag-IBIG Fund, SSS-Antique, and PhilHealth-Antique provided informative talks and offered students the opportunity to apply for membership. Many students lined up to register with these agencies, securing their social security benefits ahead of employment.
The Campus Recruitment activity transformed the venue into a marketplace of opportunity as partner employers set up booths to meet their potential next hires. As the booths were packed away and the halls emptied, the graduating class walked away not just with diplomas on the horizon, but with the tools, registrations, and connections needed to launch their professional journeys.
