Our health is one of the most important aspects of our lives. We should take care of it from birth till old age.
I am Cristina Alfaro, a licensed physician practicing general medicine since 2010.
Originally from Zamboanga City, I finished my pre-med studies in the University of Santo Tomas under their 3-year accelerated program. After graduation, I went back to my hometown to continue with my medical degree in Ateneo de Zamboanga University.
As a GP, I initially worked in rural communities in Regions 9 and 10 as a payback for my medical scholarship. In between work in government hospitals, I go on duty in private tertiary hospitals in the area and volunteered in NGOs, LGUs, and various medical missions.
