𝙄𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙧 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙢, 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙙𝙨 𝙖 𝙥𝙞𝙚𝙘𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙 𝙗𝙚𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙚𝙭𝙝𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙩 𝙗𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 𝙖 𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙧 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙤𝙬𝙣. ✨
"𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑫𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚" is more than an art exhibit. It’s a celebration of individuality, inclusivity, and the power of safe spaces. Every brushstroke, thread, and photograph reveals the unique perspective of a child. How they see the world, and how they long to be seen by it.
But even in a country rich in culture, religion, and community, many children with disabilities still face bullying, discrimination, and stigma, sometimes even in their own homes. In a world where recognition and appreciation are not always given, this exhibit is a space where children with special needs are seen, celebrated, and uplifted.
𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 & 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 (𝗟𝗥𝗔𝗟𝗦𝗖) a 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 and 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰 working to transform the lives of children with exceptionalities. Through their 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗗 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, students learn not only how to express themselves through art, but how to build confidence, independence, and hope.

Do you want to see art from the heart? 🩵

Life Ready is so proud of our students who will be featured in our partnership exhibit with Sambalikha Art Cafe! Our exhibit will open its doors on May 4 and it will be a month-long event, so do drop by and see the exceptional stories of our students translated onto the canvas. You can also bring the artworks home as creative coasters, carry them around as colorful totes or wear them loud and proud through artsy shirts.

Life Ready will be taking a break from operations for the Holy Week. The center will be closed from Wednesday to Sunday as we observe this pensive season. We hope to see our clients again once operations resume on Monday, April 21.

In every brushstroke, knot, and click of the camera lies a powerful story waiting to be seen. 𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑫𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚 is not just an exhibit, 𝒊𝒕'𝒔 𝒂 𝒎𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕. A vivid, unapologetic showcase of perspectives from young artists with exceptionalities from 𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒚’𝒔 𝑺𝑷𝑬𝑫 𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝑺𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒔 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒎.

Despite the richness of Philippine culture, many children and individuals with special needs continue to face discrimination, isolation, and stigma. This exhibit mirrors that reality while boldly challenging it, transforming lived experiences into string art, abstract paintings, and photographic expression that break barriers and celebrate human uniqueness.

Life Ready Academic & Life Skills Center reached a new milestone this month! We're happy to announce our partnership with The Gram, the pioneer coffee shop that serves freshly brewed and quality beverages, right here in the heart of Zambales. As our partner, they will be offering training services for our learners--like cleaning various areas of the cafe, serving food and drinks, preparing simple snacks, and more!

Shoutout to The Gram owner Europa Carampot, who signed the partnership with Life Ready's very own Teacher Maria Balolong. We look forward to Life Ready learners who will be sharing and learning from this space starting next year!

Our Life Ready psychologists, Krisha Deveza and Kat Dizon-Orpilla, got to know our lovely teachers from the San Narciso District. They conducted academic placement screening for elementary, high school, and LSENs in time for this upcoming quarter. We hope proper academic placement screening tests become a regular practice for many schools and institutions, for the betterment of students' school experiences.
