Now everyone wants a supportive leader.
But if support feels very comfortable, that’s not support. That’s actually babysitting.
So what does a supportive leader really look like?
Akala ng iba, a supportive leader means laging nice sa’yo, laging available for you, laging patient, at laging nag-a-adjust para sa’yo.
Here’s the truth. A real support of a leader isn’t about making you comfortable. It’s about making you BETTER.
A good leader won’t let you stay the same.
They will push you. They will correct you. They will challenge you.
And they will hold you to a standard that, sometimes, you don’t even like.
But one day, you’ll be grateful for that STANDARD, because you’ll carry it into other areas of your life.
Because here’s the truth.
If comfort is all you’re given, your growth will be SLOW.
If all you hear is praise, you will stay AVERAGE.
At kung iniiwasan kang i-correct ng leader mo, at binibaby ka lang nila, that’s not support.
Support isn’t soft. Support is STRUCTURED.
Ganito ang itsura niya:
● There are deadlines.
● There is accountability.
● You have ownership over what you do.
● And expectations are clear.
That leader will give you HONEST feedback.
Real support doesn’t feel good at first, because growth NEVER feels good at first.
