Isabela Doctors General Hospital, Inc. recently held a comprehensive Brain Attack Training (BAT) spearheaded by Dr. Vanessa Calimag, a distinguished neurologist and stroke expert. This intensive training equipped our medical team with advanced knowledge and hands-on strategies in the early recognition, swift management, and effective management of stroke casesโ€”commonly referred to as โ€œbrain attacks.โ€

The BAT exercise emphasized the importance of time-critical interventions, interdepartmental collaboration, and adherence to global stroke care standards. Through simulations and case-based learning, IDGH doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals enhanced their skills in identifying stroke symptoms, initiating immediate response protocols, and ensuring seamless patient care.

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of our beloved Dr. Filemon โ€œBebotโ€ S. Donato Jr. His dedication to healing, his selfless service, and his unwavering commitment to our community have left an indelible mark on so many lives.

Dr. Donato was not only a skilled doctor but a compassionate soul who touched the lives of countless individuals, offering not only medical care but kindness, encouragement, and understanding.

As we remember his remarkable legacy, we take comfort in knowing that his work, dedication, and love that he shared will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
