A Data Quality Check (DQC) and Orientation on the Inventory of Family Planning (FP) Commodities was successfully conducted to enhance data accuracy, strengthen reporting practices, and improve the management of FP supplies for continuous service delivery.

To acknowledge the efforts and commitment of the workforce, Certificates of Appreciation were awarded to District Nurses and Midwives for their valuable contribution to the Family Planning Program.

A meaningful day spent with our dedicated Barangay Health Workers at the annual BHW Summit. This gathering brought together community frontliners from different barangays to learn, connect, and strengthen the foundation of our local health services.

Throughout the summit, participants engaged in discussions on improving grassroots health programs, enhancing service delivery, and promoting a more responsive and inclusive approach to community wellness. It was also an opportunity to recognize the hard work and sacrifices of our BHWsโ€”individuals who tirelessly serve families, ensure early health interventions, and bring healthcare closer to every household.

Their passion, resilience, and commitment remain the backbone of our public health system. As we continue to face evolving challenges in community healthcare, todayโ€™s summit serves as a reminder that empowered BHWs lead to healthier and stronger communities.

In line with our commitment to promote Mental Health Awareness and community well-being, The City Health Office-Iligan through its Mental Health Program in collaboration with the Department of Health Center for Health Development โ€“ Northern Mindanao (DOH CHD-NM), CMO Gender and Development Office, Philippine Red Cross-Iligan, and Motivational Philippines Incorporated has organized the "Biyaheng Kalusugan: Mental Health Activities"

Last October 24, 2025, held at Robinsons place Iligan, students from Adventist Medical College, Iligan Medical Center College, MSU-IIT and Saint Michael College took center stage to raise awareness of mental health issues, foster resilience, and advance wellbeing.

Our event aimed to eliminate stigma, empower young minds, and encourage students to take care of themselves and their mental health.
