I admire Vice Ganda for using the media platform to educate viewers about the importance of having insurance and breaking free from the "sandwich generation."

This refers to breadwinners who, due to multiple obligations—supporting their own family, parents, siblings, and even nephews and nieces—fail to prepare for their retirement.

They shoulder the financial burden for everyone else, only to find themselves without savings in their later years.

Ginawan pa nga ng movie sa MMFF para mas maintindihan nating lahat.

I hope maging eye-opener 'to sa mga Filipino na lahat tayo, especially mga "breadwinners", na kailangan nating lahat ng insurance.

Dati, allergic ako sa salitang "Insurance." Iniisip ko, "gastos lang 'yan;" "hindi ko kailangan 'yan;" "mahal 'yan."

Pero noong naintindihan ko ang Purpose nito, na-realize ko na kailangna pala natin ito to provide Protection for our family if "We die too soon."

In case na kunin tayo ni Lord mamaya o bukas, kakain pa rin ng 3 beses sa isang araw ang pamilya natin, mababayaran nila ang utang na naiwan natin, at makakapagtapos pa rin ang ating mga anak sa pag-aaral.

In short, we buy life insurance because we love our family.

Just a piece of advice 😊

Once you receive your 13th month Pay or Christmas Bonus. Bayaran mo ang taong nagpautang sayo noong panahong gipit na gipit ka. Ang taong hindi nagdalawang isip na tulungan ka dahil kaibigan ka nya sa hirap man o ginhawa. You promised to pay but you failed and promised again. He/She trusted you and lend his/her hard-earned money for you to survive. It is time for you to do your part.

Save your relationship with the person whom you owed money. Money can be earned anytime, but the trust once broken will leave a permanent mark the rest of your life.

If wala ka naman utang, spend your money wisely. Invest into something your future self will thank you for. Let that money work for you atleast sa loob ng isang taon, may tamang desisyon kang nagawa sa buhay mo.
