𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐑𝐮𝐧, 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞: 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞 An Oral Health Outreach Program for PWD Beneficiaries

Last March 31,2026 marked a meaningful milestone for our chapter as we officially turned the funds raised from our 𝙊𝙣𝙚 𝙍𝙪𝙣, 𝙊𝙣𝙚 𝙎𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙚 – 𝙄𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙣 Run for a cause initiative into action. Through the collective efforts of everyone who supported our Run for a Cause, we were able to allocate ₱50,000 worth of oral health goods and services to benefit 50 PWD beneficiaries.

Each smile we encountered that day was a reminder that every step we took during the run truly made a difference. From oral health kits to essential daily support, this outreach was not just about giving—it was about empowering, educating, and uplifting our community.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported, participated, and believed in this cause. Because of you, miles were transformed into meaningful smiles.

A special thank you as well to all the dentists and volunteers whose unwavering dedication to service and community outreach made this initiative possible. Your compassion and commitment continue to inspire us all. 💙🩵💚

𝗣𝗗𝗔 – 𝗜𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 | 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗩𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼
𝗖𝘂𝗹𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁
𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴! 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗺, 𝗪𝗲 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗺.

February tested us.
Plans were delayed, events were disrupted by Typhoon Basyang—but our purpose was never shaken.

Even with rescheduled activities, postponed kick-off events, and temporary school closures, we chose to move forward, to serve, and to celebrate National Dental Health Month with the same passion and commitment—guided by our advocacy:

𝘿𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖’𝙮 𝙆𝙖𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙮 𝙨𝙖 𝙉𝙜𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙒𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙃𝙪𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙮.”

Our main kick-off may have moved to March, and some programs had to pause, but discouragement never had a place in our journey. Instead, we adapted, we persisted, and we bloomed—together.

Last February 21, 2026, we successfully conducted the 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗽 𝗗𝘂𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 in partnership with 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 – 𝗜𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗻, as part of our 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 celebration.

This meaningful activity was led by our dedicated Project Chair, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗮-𝗡𝗮𝘃𝘃𝗮𝗯, whose leadership and commitment made the program possible. To all our rice and donut sponsors, thank you so much for your generosity and support.
