“Donate Blood This Valentine’s Season”

In celebration of Hearts Day, the ICDTRC under the leadership of Ms. Maricar Go, organized a blood donation activity at the facility. This event included the selected detoxified clients from the In-House, Facility-Based Outpatient and AftercareProgram, as well as ICDTRC personnel. The initiative was conducted in partnership with the blood bank staff from Amai Pakpak Medical Center.

The purpose of this event was to collect blood donations to help those in need, particularly individuals who are ill or require blood transfusions.

The Amai Pakpak Medical Center - Blood Bank successfully collected 60 bags of blood during this event.

If one person suppressed his emotion due to some reasons, it could be resulted to a behavior of which people around him couldn't comprehend what he is trying to project, and it might lead to chaos in the family and created trouble that made him moved away from his family and be with bad influence people.

The rehab center is giving them a room to showcase their talents and encouraged them to express what they felt inside. They are given a situation to portray and challenge themselves to come up with ideas on how they present a scenario during final judging.

This activity is in support for the DRUG ABUSE PREVENTION AND CONTROL WEEK 2024.

ICDTRC Personnel and Staff joined the Opening of the DAPC Week - Drug Abuse Prevention Control Week 2024.

The Office of the City Anti Drug Abuse spearheaded the Opening of the DAPC week from the dance presentation during the Flag Raising Ceremony at City Hall then to the City Public Plaza for a formal program. Different LGU Offices are hand in hand to make our city a Drug Free City and a good place to live.

Announcement: Drug Abuse Prevention and Control (DAPC) Week 2024

Presidential Proclamation No. 124, issued on November 26, 2001, declares the annual observance of the Drug Abuse Prevention and Control (DAPC) Week every third week of November. This year, DAPC Week will be celebrated from November 17 to 23, 2024, with the theme:

“Prioritizing Health-based Approach in Drug Abuse Prevention and Control.”

This theme reflects the President's commitment to focusing on treatment, rehabilitation, reintegration, after-care interventions, and health in the national efforts against drug abuse.
