As part of our World Patient Safety Day celebration, an illumination activity will be held at the conference room to show solidarity with the WPSD advocacy.

The signature mark of the global campaign for patient safety is lighting up a particular place in orange color. Orange symbolizes the central role patient safety plays in countries' efforts to achieve universal health coverage.

The theme for this year "Safe care for every newborn and every child," with the slogan, "Patient safety from the start!", highlights the heightened vulnerability of this age group to harm and unsafe care.

When Life Gives You Lemons 🍋: Hospital Edition Chitchat Session

The phrase "when life gives you lemons, make lemonade" is a proverb that encourages optimism and resilience in the face of adversity. It means that when something bad happens, try to find a positive outcome or make the best of a difficult situation. It's a way of saying that even though life can throw challenges your way (like sour lemons), you can transform those challenges into something enjoyable or beneficial (like sweet lemonade).

Part of our National Hospital Week celebration is to honor the resilience of our healthcare workers in the face of adversity as they share their 'When Life Gives You Lemons' experience in the workplace.

A lemonade bar is set up to give free lemonade drink for all DUHI workers. 🍋
