Day 8 – Love Our Family of Faith as Jesus Does
AMCI 10 Days of Prayer 🤍

On Day 8, we are reminded that the church is more than an organization—it is a family bound together by Christ’s love. Jesus loves His family with patience, compassion, forgiveness, and self-sacrifice, and He calls us to love one another in the same way.

As members of the AMCI family of faith, we are invited to reflect Christ by caring for one another, bearing each other’s burdens, and choosing unity over division. When we love as Jesus loves, our relationships become a powerful testimony of God’s grace, and our community becomes a safe place where faith grows and hope is strengthened.

Day 7 – Disciple Children and All Generations to Speak for Jesus

Discipleship is not limited by age—it is a calling for every generation. On Day 7, we are reminded that children, youth, adults, and elders all have a voice and a mission to speak for Jesus. When we intentionally nurture faith in the young and empower every generation to share Christ through words and actions, the gospel becomes a living legacy. As a church and as AMCI, we are called to model Christlike love, teach truth with compassion, and create an environment where every generation boldly testifies of Jesus in their own unique way.

Day 6 Insight – “Boldly Stand for Christ and Follow Him Fully”

Day 6 calls us to a courageous faith—one that does not waver in the face of challenges. To boldly stand for Christ means choosing Him openly in our words, actions, and decisions, even when it is uncomfortable or costly. Our faith becomes a living testimony when we stand firm in truth, love, and integrity.

Following Christ fully goes beyond belief; it is a daily commitment to walk in His footsteps. It means surrendering our will, trusting His leading, and obeying His calling wholeheartedly. As we pray together at AMCI, may God give us bold hearts and unwavering faith, so that our lives clearly reflect Christ and draw others closer to Him through our faithful service.

Day 5 Insight – “Repent and Be Saturated with the Holy Spirit”

Day 5 reminds us that repentance is not merely feeling sorry for sin, but a sincere turning of the heart back to God. When we humbly confess and surrender everything to Him, we make room for the Holy Spirit to work freely in our lives. Repentance cleanses the vessel; the Holy Spirit fills it.

To be saturated with the Holy Spirit means allowing God’s presence to fully influence our thoughts, words, and actions. It is a daily experience of dependence—seeking His guidance, power, and transformation. As AMCI prays together, may our hearts be softened, renewed, and filled anew, so that we can reflect Christ more clearly in our service, our relationships, and our mission of healing.

Starting Right With God: 1st Prayer Fellowship for 2026

Ninety-four (94) faithful workers of Adventist Medical Center Iligan (AMCI), together with some of their dependents, gathered for the 1st Prayer Fellowship for 2026 held on January 10–11, 2026, from 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. The meaningful spiritual gathering took place within the 10 Days of Prayer, setting the tone for the new year with wholehearted dependence on God.

Anchored on the theme “Starting Right With God,” the fellowship reminded everyone that the surest foundation for the year ahead is a life surrendered to prayer and faith. As the Scripture declares,
“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans” (Proverbs 16:3).

The program followed the usual and much-loved activities, including ACTS Prayer—Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, and Supplication—allowing participants to deepen their personal and collective communion with God. Hearts were united as praises were lifted, gratitude was expressed, and burdens were laid before the Lord in humble submission. It was followed by group discussion after a food break.

The fellowship culminated in a powerful marathon prayer, where participants prayed in pairs from midnight until 4:00 a.m.

This sacred moment reflected the workers’ unwavering faith and commitment to seek God earnestly, even through the quiet hours of the night.

Truly, “Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength” (Isaiah 40:31).

As AMCI steps into 2026, this Prayer Fellowship served as a spiritual milestone—reminding everyone that when God is placed first, His guidance, strength, and blessings will surely follow throughout the year.

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you” (Matthew 6:33).

Day 4 Insight: “Humbly Come Together in the Mind of Christ” 🙏

On Day 4 of the AMCI 10 Days of Prayer, we are reminded that true unity begins with humility. To have the mind of Christ is to choose selflessness over pride, listening over insisting, and service over position. Jesus, though fully divine, humbled Himself to serve and to love, setting the perfect example for us.

As we come together in prayer, may we lay down personal agendas and be willing to see others through Christ’s eyes. When humility fills our hearts, the Holy Spirit can work powerfully among us, bringing harmony, healing, and a shared commitment to God’s purpose for AMCI.

Happy Sabbath.

Day 3 – Meet Jesus When He Surprises Us
AMCI 10 Days of Prayer
Speaker: Chaplain Jedifancis Felisilda

Day 3 reminds us that Jesus often meets us in ways we do not expect. In the routines of work, moments of uncertainty, or even seasons of waiting, He suddenly reveals Himself—bringing clarity, peace, and renewed faith. These divine surprises teach us to remain attentive and humble, trusting that God is always at work even when His ways differ from our plans. As we pray today, may our hearts be open to recognize Jesus’ presence and respond with faith and obedience whenever He surprises us. 🙏
