What is PPD?
Tuberculin skin tests (TST) or purified protein derivative (PPD) tests are both used for diagnosing tuberculosis (TB) infection. These tests are used to determine if an individual has been exposed to the bacteria that causes TB.

**Ginabuhat ang PPD test aron mahibal-an kung ang usa ka tao na-expose na sa bacteria sa TB. Dili pa pasabot nga naa kay sakit nga TB, pero makatabang kini makita kung naa kay latent infection (nakatago nga porma sa TB) nga pwede pa mogawas sa umaabot.**
