Knowledge is power; sharing it, an honor.

The Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology is privileged to conduct the next step in our collaboration with the 4th Mechanized Infantry "Kalasag" Battalion, Philippine Army. On Oct. 24-25, 2023, facilitators of the hub and graduate volunteers of the Master of Arts in Education - Guidance and Counseling began training future stress management facilitators from the battallion, who may be able to provide stress and problem management strategies to those in their troop. The event is expected to culminate this November, with the participants undergoing supervised simulation activities.

Our many thanks to Dr. Nancy Q. Echavez, who gave the opening remarks on behalf of Chancellor Alizedney Ditucalan. We would also like to thank LTC Joseph Marlon Famoso, commanding officer; Dr. Rosario Reserva, Director for Extension; and Dr. Imelu Mordeno, the consulting psychologist, for their support of our activities.
