Last December 18, 2025, FPOP Iloilo had a blast at Richmonde Hotel Iloilo with our winter-themed Christmas Party, as we stepped into the magical land of Arendelle. ❄️

A night filled with music, dance, celebration, gift-giving, recognition of everyone’s excellence and performance, and of course, mouth-watering food and drinks. Truly a magical evening to remember! 🥰

✨ Rajah kag Diwata sang Iloilo 2025 ✨

Last December 14, 2025, Rajah kag Diwata sang Iloilo once again illuminated the stage as a powerful yearly campaign for HIV/AIDS awareness, using the art of pageantry to promote education, inclusion, and advocacy. Open to all genders, the pageant celebrated advocates who boldly stand for awareness, compassion, and zero stigma.

The coronation night was made even more meaningful as funders, partners, FPOP Iloilo staff, prestigious judges, and enthusiastic audiences from different parts of Iloilo City and the Province gathered in unity and support.

This remarkable event forms part of the commemoration of World AIDS Day 2025, reminding us that together, through awareness and solidarity, we continue the fight toward zero stigma, zero new infections, and zero HIV/AIDS-related deaths.

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Race to Zero Fun Run 2025 | November 29 🏁

Last November 29, 2025, we successfully held the Fun Run: “Race to Zero”, organized by FPOP Iloilo Chapter in partnership with the Iloilo Provincial Government. This meaningful event carried the powerful theme of Zero Stigma, Zero New HIV Infections, and Zero HIV/AIDS-Related Deaths.

The activity was proudly headed by Ma’am Mona Liza S. Diones, RMT, FPOP Iloilo Chapter Program Manager, whose leadership and commitment helped bring the advocacy to life. We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our valued partners and generous sponsors, whose support and collaboration made this advocacy-driven event possible.

Together with our partners, sponsors, volunteers, and participants, we took steps literally and figuratively towards awareness, compassion, and action in the fight against HIV and AIDS.

Thank you to everyone who joined and supported this advocacy. 💙

On this sacred night, we gather in faith, light, and love celebrating traditions that strengthen families and communities. Christmas Eve reminds us that caring for one another goes beyond sharing meals and prayers; it also means honoring dignity, responsibility, and well-being.

As we reflect on hope and new beginnings, we are reminded that sexual and reproductive health is part of caring for life promoting informed choices, mutual respect, healthy relationships, and the protection of every person’s rights and future.

𝘼𝘿𝘝𝘼𝙉𝘾𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙃𝙀𝘼𝙇𝙏𝙃 𝙁𝙊𝙍 𝙒𝙀𝙎𝙏𝙀𝙍𝙉 𝙑𝙄𝙎𝘼𝙔𝘼𝙎

The Department of Health – Western Visayas Center for Health Development conducted the Regional Strategic Planning for the Local Health Support Division focusing on the 8 Priority Programs of DOH, including TB–HIV, this December 9–10, 2025 at Gloria Maris Hall, Punta Villa Resort, Iloilo City.

Representing the organization, Ma’am Mona Liza S. Diones, RMT, Chapter Program Manager of FPOP Iloilo, attended the planning workshop together with partners from Infectious Control and Family Health and Nutrition.

This collaborative effort aims to strengthen local health support, enhance strategies for DOH’s priority programs, and improve service delivery for communities across Western Visayas.

🌈 RKD Iloilo Organization Preliminary Competition Highlights!

Last Saturday, the Rajah kag Diwata sang Iloilo (RKD) showcased an inspiring and colorful preliminary competition, bringing together beauty, talent, and purpose.

We are honored that Ma’am Mona Liza S. Diones, RMT, Chapter Program Manager of FPOP Iloilo, delivered the welcome remarks.

In her message, she emphasized the vital role of the LGBTQIA+ community as a key population in the ongoing fight against HIV/AIDS, champions of awareness, advocacy, and empowerment.

FPOP Iloilo expresses its gratitude to RKD Iloilo Organization for providing a platform that uplifts voices, celebrates diversity, and strengthens our shared commitment to end stigma and discrimination.

Together, let’s continue working towards a community that is informed, inclusive, and empowered.
