I have nothing against learning the alphabet, numbers, and colors (literacy and numeracy will later be helpful for academics - around 4 to 5 years old). I get concerned kapag ito lang ang mga nasasabi ng mga bata, pero wala pang other "core words," o mga salitang mas nagagamit sa pang-araw araw na pangangailangan o karanasan. Iilan na rito ay ang pangalan ng mga kasama sa bahay, mga madalas kainin o paglaruan, o mga iba pang kagustuhan.
