Liga ng mga Barangay Sorsogon Province visits Iloilo City!

Liga ng mga Barangay Vice President, Hon. Robert Richard Dolar, warmly welcomed Hon. Jose Arturo D. Enano, Liga ng mga Barangay President of the Sorsogon Province, while engaging in a cordial greetings.

Also in the photo, City Agriculturist Mr. Iñigo Garingalao discussed the best practices and programs of RISE-A-FARM, or Resilient, Integrated, Sustainable Environment for Agriculture Farming, a multi-component program that transforms underutilized spaces to enhance local biodiversity, encouraging composting and waste management, fostering community involvement, and addressing socio-economic inequalities through better access to nutritious food and entrepreneurship opportunities.

Mayor Jerry Treñas led a panel presentation and interview for the Walang Gutom Awards of the Department of Social Welfare and Development and Galing Pook Foundation on April 17, 2024.
