🚑💛 Calling All Healthcare Heroes! 💛🚑

We're excited to announce BATÔ: Be Aware, Test Often, our service-learning program, and we need YOUR expertise! As BSMLS 3A and 3C students of the University of San Agustin, we’re reaching out to healthcare professionals who are passionate about community service and preventive healthcare.

📅 Date: November 27, 2024
🕗 Time: 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM
📍 Venue: Asilo de Molo, Iloilo

We're looking for volunteer physicians and medical technologists to join us in providing health education, basic screenings, and guidance to the elderly. Together, let’s make a difference by offering crucial support to those in need and advocating for kidney health.

𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧 𝟰 | The BS MLS 2A students of the University of San Agustin conducted a service-learning program titled "Cells of Compassion: Katusoks Nurturing Young Minds through the Art of Blood Histology" for the Grade 7 STE students of Iloilo City National High School, May 17.

Under the guidance of Histology Professor Dr. Alma Maria Daguay and Project Mentor Rojen Mana-ay, the students of MLS 2A organized engaging activities for the participants including Antigen Search, Storytelling, and Blood Circulation Relay, which enhanced the learning experience by making it both enjoyable and educational.

A big thank you to everyone who participated and made this event a success. We hope you enjoyed the journey into the microscopic world of blood histology as much as we did. See you next time!
