The Walk and Work Foundation / Iloilo Prosthetic and Rehabilitation Center successfully conducted its seminar, “Essential Skills for Employees: Understanding and Communicating with Customers,” alongside key learning sessions on listening, empathy, and storytelling for better teamwork and better care, held on April 10, 2026.
This meaningful training emphasized the importance of active listening, genuine empathy, and effective storytelling in strengthening both internal collaboration and client communication. Employees were guided on how to better understand customer needs, communicate with clarity and compassion, and build stronger, trust-based relationships in the workplace.
Through this seminar, participants gained practical skills that enhance not only customer service delivery but also teamwork, confidence, and overall professional growth. By improving how they listen, relate, and respond, employees are better equipped to provide more personalized, respectful, and impactful care, especially to individuals relying on prosthetic and rehabilitation services.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Ken Lerona of Cornelius Magnate Engagement & Consulting for sharing his expertise and inspiring our team to continuously grow and deliver service with excellence and empathy.
This initiative reflects the organization’s ongoing commitment to developing its people and ensuring that every interaction creates a positive and meaningful experience for the community we serve.
