The Department of Otorhinolaryngology β Head and Neck Surgery of Western Visayas Medical Center proudly announces a major milestoneβthe successful completion of its FIRST ENDOSCOPIC excision of a Juvenile Nasoangiofibroma in a 13-year-old male, a first in Western Visayas! π
This landmark procedure was made possible through the expertise and collaboration of our dedicated team, led by Dr. Ria Sophia Perales, Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery Fellow, together with her mentors from the Philippine Academy of Rhinology and Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery training at East Avenue Medical Center: Dr. NiΓ±o Bernardo Timbungco and Dr. Sherilyn Ng Tsai Timbungco.
