Alam mo ba na bukod sa nirereduce ng NSAIDs ang antihypertensive effect ng ACE inhibitors, ARBs at diuretics, ang madalas na pag-inom ng NSAIDs habang umiinom ng antihypertensive medications ay maaaring magdulot ng acute renal failure.

Ugaliin magpacheck-up sa doktor o magtanong sa pharmacist bago uminom ng gamot.

Have you encountered a patient who take pain relievers as if these are maintenance drugs? Patients, especially those taking other medications like antihypertensive drugs should be educated on the risk associated with the long term use of pain relievers. What we thought to be a harmless pill if taken inappropriately on a regular basis will not actually help us but may potentially add up or worsen our existing health problems.
