This patient (back in 2018) had severe and untreated retinal damage along with other serious eye injuries, which caused the eye to gradually shrink over time. To address the resulting facial asymmetry, a custom-made artificial eye was carefully designed to restore a more natural appearance and help bring back the patient’s confidence.
