St. Paul’s Hospital of Iloilo, Inc. successfully held its 𝑭𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑴𝒊𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒔 on February 15, 2026, at the Iloilo Convention Center, a meaningful gathering that celebrated our shared mission of compassionate healthcare.

The event began with a solemn Opening Liturgy, highlighting our faith-centered gathering and our shared commitment to service.

The fellowship strengthened collaboration among our valued partners: government agencies, suppliers and companies, medical staff, SPHI personnel, SPHI Residents Alumni Officers, Priests, and SPC Sisters from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us. Your presence brought joy and truly reflected the spirit of compassion that unites us all. More than a fellowship, this gathering was a testament to our collective commitment to serve with faith, deliver quality healthcare, and respond to the needs of the community.

As shared in the closing words of Dr. Henry Gonzales, — may we continue moving forward in service, guided by faith, compassion, and excellence.

Rite of Imposition of Ashes

May the ashes we receive today remind us of our desire for renewal, our openness to forgiveness, and our ever-growing faith.

May this season of Lent lead us to quiet healing, spiritual growth, and a stronger trust in God’s mercy. In humility, we acknowledge our need for grace; in faith, we continue our mission of service with compassionate hearts.

St. Paul’s Hospital of Iloilo, Inc. joyfully celebrated its 115th Foundation Anniversary on February 15, 2026, with the theme “𝑺𝑷𝑯𝑰 @115: 𝑨 𝑳𝒆𝒈𝒂𝒄𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑭𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒉, 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑬𝒙𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆,” marked by a solemn Eucharistic Celebration presided over by Most Rev. Archbishop Emeritus Jose Romeo Lazo, D.D.

One of the highlights of the program was the recognition of 78 Service Awardees—employees who have faithfully served SPHI for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years—an enduring testament to their loyalty and commitment. The celebration also honored 27 employees for Perfect Attendance and formally welcomed 17 new Medical Staff into the SPHI family.

The event was made even more special by the presence of Sr. Emily Louise del Castillo, SPC, Provincial Superior of the SPC Philippine Province; Sr. Adelina Javellana, SPC, Assistant Provincial for the Health Care Ministry; and the SPC Sisters from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

With the unwavering support of our Hospital Administrator, Sr. Arcelita Sarnillo, SPC, and the SPHI Administration, this celebration became a cherished and memorable milestone for the hospital. As we move forward, may we continue to serve with faith-filled hearts and a renewed commitment to our healing mission.
