Today, our Purok Kalusugan team successfully conducted a FREE X-ray screening for TB Active Case Finding in Barangay Badiang, Anilao.

📌 This initiative aims to promote early detection and prevention, ensuring a healthier and safer barangay for all.

Grade 1 pupils were given Measles-Rubella (MR) and Tetanus-Diphtheria (TD) vaccines to ensure they stay healthy, protected, and ready for learning. 🌟

‼️KASO NG HAND FOOT AND MOUTH DISEASE, PITONG BESES NA MAS MATAAS NGAYONG TAON KUMPARA NOONG 2024‼️

Sa tala ng DOH as of August 9, 2025, pumalo na sa 37,368 ang kaso ng Hand, Foot and Mouth disease o HFMD – mas mataas ito ng higit pitong beses kumpara sa 5,081 na kaso sa kaparehong panahon noong 2024.

Kalahati sa mga naitalang kaso ay mga batang edad isa hanggang tatlong taong gulang.

Ang HFMD ay isang nakakahawang sakit na pwedeng makuha kung humawak sa mata, ilong, o bibig gamit ang kamay na nahawakan ang bagay na kontaminado ng virus.

Kabilang sa mga sintomas nito ang lagnat, singaw sa bibig, pananakit ng lalamunan, at mga butlig sa palad at talampakan.

Payo ng DOH, sakaling magkaroon ng mga sintomas ang isang bata ay panatilihin muna ito sa bahay nang pito hanggang sampung araw o hanggang sa panahong mawala ang lagnat at matuyo na ang mga sugat.

Mahalaga rin na ihiwalay ang mga kubyertos at iba pang personal na kagamitan ng taong maysakit na HFMD at linisin ang lugar kung saan sila nanatili gamit ang disinfectant.

From August to September 2025, the Province of Iloilo, in partnership with the Department of Health and Department of Education, will once again roll out the School-Based Immunization (SBI) Program.

📌 Who’s covered?
✅ Grades 1 & 7 – Measles, Rubella, Tetanus, and Diphtheria vaccines
✅ Grade 4 (female learners) – HPV vaccine

The Iloilo Provincial Health Office is committed to keeping our learners safe from serious and preventable diseases. 💪

📢 Watch out for our friendly immunization teams from DepEd and Rural Health Units as they visit your schools to bring life-saving protection!

Leptospirosis Prophylaxis: Proteksyunan ang kaugalingon!

Kon ikaw nakaubog sa tubig baha, may pilas man ukon wala, hugasan sang maayo sang habon kag tubig ang parte sang lawas nga nakaubog kag gilayon makipag angot sa mga midwife incharge sa inyo barangay ukon magkadto sa Anilao Primary Care Facility para sa Prophylaxis sang Leptospirosis.

PuroKalusugan Launching Activity at Barangay San Carlos 💚

A huge thank you to Dr. Karen Ann A. Gonzales, our Municipal Health Officer, Anilao Primary Care Facility Staff, and Dr. Anthony T. Redaniel, Development Officer IV, together with the dedicated DOH-HRH Team, for their support in making this health initiative a success.

We also extend our gratitude to Barangay Captain Marife Rendon and the Barangay Council, BHW's and BNS for their active participation and warm welcome.
