With recent heavy rains and floods in the City of Iloilo comes a risk for Leptospirosis infection 🌊🐀⛈️

Here are some infographics about the disease; highly encouraging the need for a Post Exposure Prophylaxis.

🐭 Prophylaxis means to prevent or control the spread of an infection or disease. Thus, a PEP (Post Exposure Prophylaxis) involves taking a medication to decrease the likelihood of an infection, either BEFORE or AFTER potential exposure to the pathogen.
