❓ 1. When should I go to an Animal Bite Center?

👉 Immediately after a bite or scratch from a dog, cat, or any animal—even if it looks small.

❓ 2. What should I do right after a bite?

🧼 Wash the wound with soap and running water for 15 minutes
🏥 Go to an Animal Bite Center right away
💉 Start anti-rabies vaccination

❓ 3. Do I still need vaccination if my pet is vaccinated?

⚠️ Yes. You still need medical evaluation and possible vaccination.

❓ 4. Is anti-rabies vaccine safe?

✅ Yes, it is safe, effective, and FDA-approved.

❓ 5. How many doses do I need?

💉 Usually 3–5 doses, depending on your case.
👉 It is important to complete the full schedule.

❓ 6. What is ERIG?

💉 ERIG (Equine Rabies Immunoglobulin) gives immediate protection for severe bites.

❓ 7. What is TT?

💉 Tetanus Toxoid (TT) protects against tetanus infection from wounds.

❓ 8. Can a scratch cause rabies?

⚠️ Yes. Even small scratches can transmit rabies.

❓ 9. Can I wait before getting treated?

❌ No. Do not delay. Early treatment saves lives.
