Panel Discussion on Geriatric Health on Day 2 of the 1st Iloilo City Health and Wellness Fair last March 27, 2026 at the SM City Iloilo Events Center

It was a great honor to present to our beloved Ilonggo senior citizens the role of integrative medicine (acupuncture and osteopathy) in geriatric health during a very dynamic and informative panel discussion with a powerhouse of experts in their respective fields:

Dr. Grace Fernandez, a long-time family friend and doctor, an expert extraordinaire in the field of geriatric medicine

Dr. Althea Tampos, CHO-Medical Officer IV and specialist in internal medicine and neurology

Dr. Rhodieleen de la Cruz, specialist in otorhinolaryngology/head and neck surgery

In celebration of Women's Month this March, the Provincial Health Office conducted a Cervical HPV-DNA screening for women ages 30 to 49.

This service is bring offered for free at the Iloilo Provincial Health Office every thursday while kits are available.

I am very grateful to the team of Dra Candice Tupas, Executive Assistant for Medical Tourism, for visiting our facility in preparation for the first Iloilo City Health and Wellness Fair, which is being organized by the Iloilo City Health Wellness Tourism Council of the Iloilo City Government in collaboration with the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) and JCI Iloilo. I am likewise grateful to my clinic staff and my colleague/volunteer model for the great assistance.

The first Iloilo City Health and Wellness Fair will be held in March 26-28, 2026 at SM City Iloilo. My clinic will have special participation on March 27.
