When to Call Your Provider Immediately

Water Breaks: If your amniotic sac ruptures (a gush or steady leak of fluid), call your doctor immediately, even if you have no contractions. Note the color (should be clear/pale) and odor.
Heavy Bleeding: If you have vaginal bleeding as heavy as a period.
Reduced Fetal Movement: A significant decrease in baby movement.
Preterm Signs: If you are less than 37 weeks pregnant and experience regular contractions.
Constant Pain: Severe, constant abdominal pain with no relief between contractions
