Halos puro bata ang ang biktima at infected ng rabies.

Mga Dahilan:

1. Maliit ang pangangatawan ng bata. Maikli ang distansya na kinakailangan ng virus upang makarating sa utak. Madalas kung sila ay nakakagat o kalmot, leeg o ulo agad.

2. Walang muwang ang mga bata sa panganib na dala ng sugat. Madalas sa eskwelahan nangyayari at hindi na nakakapag sabi sa magulang. Likas din silang mahilig lumapit sa hayop.
