May mga pagkakataon talaga na hindi agad lumalabas ang placenta o tinatawag na retained placenta.
Kapag naiwan to sa loob, hindi lang basta “naiwan” lang, pwede ring magdulot ng malakas na pagdurugo na delikado para kay mommy 🩸
Pwede rin magkaroon ng impeksyon, lalo na kung matagal naiwan, na pwede ring magdulot ng lagnat, panginginig, at mabahong discharge 🤒

Kaya mommy, after manganak, bantayan pa rin ang katawan ha. Hindi porket tapos na ang delivery, tapos na rin ang lahat 💛
Kapag may kakaibang pakiramdam o tuloy-tuloy na pagdurugo, huwag mahiyang magpatingin.
Hindi lahat natatapos sa paglabas ni baby… may risks pa rin talaga after 😥

Si mommy ay natagal mag-labor, 12 hours stuck sa 3cm bago nag-progres 😰

Bakit nga ba posibeleng magtagal mag-labor?
Unang panganak – mas matagal kasi kailangang mag-adjust ang katawan sa contractions 🤱
Maliit ang pelvic opening – natural limit lang, kaya mas matagal ang paglabas ng baby at nakakapagod minsan 😓
Pagod at stress – bumabagal ang labor kapag pagod o tensyonado si mommy kaya mahalaga ang support at encouragement ❤️
Iba pang minor issues – tulad ng dehydration o low energy na nakakaapekto sa progress 💧
💡 Pwede ring mangyari habang matagal ang labor:
Mas matagal ang proseso ng pagpapalabas ng baby 🕒
Kailangan ng pain relief o support 💆‍♀️
Minsan, kailangan ng intervention gaya ng induction

Kay mommy:
• Sobrang pagkapagod at stress 😓
• Mas mataas ang chance ng prolonged labor
• Posibleng vaginal tears o pelvic muscle strain
• Posibleng mataas ang blood pressure
kay baby:
• Puwedeng maipit ang baby sa birth canal
• Mas mabagal ang paglabas, puwede humaba ang labor
• Posibleng ma-stress o magkaroon ng low oxygen (hypoxia)
