A successful and meaningful Buntis Class was conducted today with a total of 21 participants from various municipalities: Naawan (1), Initao (9), Libertad (1), Gitagum (6), Laguindingan (3), and El Salvador (1).

Our sincere appreciation to our esteemed speakers who shared their valuable knowledge:
• Ma'am Miraluna Ramos, RN, Chief Nurse – Breastfeeding and Lactation, and Newborn Hearing Test Awareness
• Dr. Kristian Rumar Boholst – Dental Care
• Ma’am Betsy Rose II E. Sacabin, RMT – Blood Supply, Bood Donation and thorough discussion on related matters
• Ma’am Jane Loraine L. Oblimar, RMT – Newborn Screening Test and some clarifications.

All participants received simple tokens of appreciation—Wow Pasta (Spaghetti & Carbonara) from the Governor’s Office and three bar soaps from a kind hearted donor.

Despite the intense heat of the sun, the women of MOPH Initao remained committed and successfully carried out a clean-up drive at the hospital’s bayside area. Their active participation and teamwork demonstrated resilience and dedication, as they worked together to clear waste and improve the surroundings. This initiative not only enhanced the cleanliness of the area but also reflected their meaningful contribution to promoting environmental awareness and supporting a greener, healthier community.
