Ceremonial Gift-Giving Activity of the Province of Misamis Oriental at MOPH–Initao

The Province of Misamis Oriental, headed by Hon. Governor Juliette T. Uy, successfully officiated a Gift-Giving Activity today for the admitted patients of MOPH–Initao, which served as the host venue for the event.

Gift packs containing 2 kilos of rice, canned goods such as sardines and beef loaf, and basic hygiene items including bath soaps, toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoos, and bath towels were distributed to our admitted patients and their watcher representatives.

After the ceremonial gift-giving, the guests proceeded with ward hopping, visiting patients who are confined, and continued to the Emergency Room to personally extend the same gesture of care and support. Thereafter, the delegation exited the hospital to proceed to the Provincial Jail, where a similar gift-giving activity was also conducted.

This meaningful initiative reflects the Province’s commitment to compassion, service, and reaching out to those in need especialy this holiday season.

— MOPH–Initao
