We cater to category 1 to 3 animal bites, may active and passive vaccines kami and we also give prophylaxis for prevention. Bites from animals such as dogs cats bats, monkeys, pigs, horse and also humans who can transmit rabies.

Our clinic is open mondays to saturdays 8 to 5pm and on call on sundays and holidays.

5 KASO NG RABIES INFECTION NAITALA SA NAGA CITY; ISANG HUMAN DEATH NAIRECORD

NAGA CITY- Limang rabies infections ang naitala ng Naga City Veterinary Office hanggang nitong ikatlong quarter ng taon, isa ang human death o nasawi dahil sa rabies.

Ito ang kinumpirma sa Brigada News FM Naga ni City Veterinarian Dr. Junius Elad Jr. sa kabila ng kanilang pinaigting na programa laban dito. May house to house vaccination at nanghuhuli ng mga a*ong gala, subalit may nakakapa*ok aniya sa lungsod na mula sa mga katabing bayan sa Camarines Sur.

Sa huling tala ng opisina, ang mga canine rabies ay mula sa Barangay Concepcion Pequeña, Dayangdang , Abella at dalawa sa Pacol. Isang nakagat ng rabies infected na a*o ang nasawi mula Enero.

Kaya naman upang maiwasan ang parehong pangyayari, ngayong Oktubre, wala mang house to house vaccination para sa mga a*o pinaplantsa na nina Dr. Elad ang schedule sa mga Barangay Hall.

Mula Enero hanggang noong Mayo umabot na sa 12,000 na mga a*o ang nabakunahan kontra rabies.

Ayon naman kay Ms. Eva Marie, Head Nurse ng St. Roch Animal Bite Center na nakabase sa Naga at Goa, hindi lamang mula sa kagat ng a*o makukuha ang rabies kundi maging sa iba pang hayop gaya ng pusa, baboy at iba pa kaya maigi na agad na pumunta sa pinakamalapit na klinika upang ma-assess at mabakunahan.

IDPH is reporting the first human case of rabies in Illinois since 1954. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) confirmed the diagnosis on September 28, 2021 after testing at its lab. While cases of human rabies in the United States are rare with only 1 to 3 cases reported each year, rabies exposures are still common with an estimated 60,000 Americans receiving the post-exposure vaccination series each year.
