To express gratitude to the University of Saint Anthony (USANT) Junior High School (JHS) Department for nurturing students and helping them achieve their goals in life, Batch 1999 donated four projectors on December 31, 2025. The turnover of the donated projectors was held at the office of the JHS Principal Dr. Francia Buffe.

Batch 1999, who were the jubilarians during the previous school year, represented by the officers namely: Randy Ampongan, Janessa Malaya, Hanna Clavillas, Mary Ann Serdan, Rammel Baylon, and Elias Rabino headed by John Christian Dimaiwat, initiated the donation as part of their commitment to give back to their alma mater.

The alumni chose to donate projectors because these are essential tools that help teachers deliver lessons more effectively in the classroom.

According to Dr. Buffe, projectors are now necessary in modern classrooms due to the increasing use of multimedia in teaching.

She further said that projectors significantly enhance teaching and learning inside the classroom. She explained that today’s students are visual learners who understand lessons better when visual aids are used.

Each grade level in the JHS Department received one projector, ensuring equal distribution of the donation, which also served as thanksgiving offerings from Batch 1999 for the blessings they have received throughout the years.

The availability of projectors allows teachers to combine audio and visual materials during discussions. With the use of technology, lessons become more engaging, interactive, and easier to understand for students.

Dr. Buffe expressed her happiness and gratitude for the donation, describing it as an added blessing for the department.
