The month of June is PROSTATE CANCER AWARENESS MONTH, and because we value life, we value health, we value you, we are one with the campaign in encouraging for the early testing and detection of prostate disease, especially if there is a history in your family.

In the early stage, the signs and symptoms of BENIGN PROSTATE ENLARGEMENT (Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia) and PROSTATE CANCER can hardly be distinguished -- frequent urination especially at night, difficulty or painful urination, or incomplete emptying of the urinary bladder or dribbling.

And, sometimes, in the early stage, signs and symptoms might not be present.

Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) is a very helpful diagnostic test, especially in the diagnosis, response to treatment, and/or relapse or recurrence of the disease.

Early detection of prostate cancer or even of benign prostatic hyperplasia, really helps in the treatment and management of the disease.
