Nursing is the heart of healthcare — and with that, we proudly congratulate the entire healthcare team and the Nursing Service Office for a job well done.

To our nursing supervisors, head nurses, staff nurses, and nursing attendants: let us all clap for victory! Your dedication, compassion, and perseverance have brought us to this moment. All your hard work has truly paid off.

A special congratulations to our Chief Nurse for his exceptional leadership in managing and overseeing the nursing service. Your guidance has been a cornerstone of this achievement.

We also extend our sincere thanks to the Regulations, Licensing and Enforcement Division (RLED) headed by Atty Tim Galvez, for your tireless efforts and support. Our gratitude goes especially to the Medical and Nursing Service Units — Dr. Omar and Sir Alvarez — for your invaluable assistance and commitment in guiding the nursing service through every step of the process.

To Ma’am Evelyn, thank you for your unwavering support, detailed guidance, and for empowering the nursing team every step of the way.

Last January 16, 2025, the Staff Development and Continuous Quality Improvement Committee, led by Nur Alia Julhan, RN, Head Nurse of the Medical Ward, organized a lecture series at the Dr. Sixto Orosa Hall, IPHO-Sulu Provincial Hospital. The session covered essential nursing procedures, including Foley Catheter Insertion, NGT/OGT Insertion, IV Insertion, Wound Dressing, and how to do proper Internal Examination. Nurses, midwives, and nursing attendants participated in the event, which aimed to enhance their skills and knowledge in patient care.

This initiative reflects the hospital’s dedication to continuous professional development and delivering high quality healthcare services.
