The Sulu Provincial Hospital Hemodialysis Unit, together with the entire Nursing Service family, joins the world in celebrating and raising awareness about the importance of healthy kidneys and early prevention of kidney disease.

Your kidneys help:
✔ Filter waste and excess fluids from the blood
✔ Control blood pressure
✔ Maintain electrolyte balance
✔ Support overall body health
⚠ Protect your kidneys by:
🔹 Drinking enough clean water
🔹 Eating a balanced, low-salt diet
🔹 Controlling blood pressure and blood sugar
🔹 Avoiding unnecessary use of pain relievers
🔹 Not smoking and limiting alcohol intake
🔹 Getting regular check-ups, especially if you are at risk

📌 Early detection saves lives. Kidney disease often has no symptoms in its early stages. Regular screening and timely consultation can prevent complications and the need for dialysis.
