CRITICAL CARE UNIT 1st ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION 💙🏨
The Sulu Provincial Hospital Critical Care Unit commemorated its 1st Anniversary on August 7, 2025, at the Mini Orosa Hall. Established on July 1, 2024, the ICU has been at the forefront of delivering life-saving care with compassion, clinical excellence, and teamwork.
With the theme “Celebrating One Year of Saving Lives Like It’s the Family Business”, the event highlighted key milestones through formal achievement reports presented by the supervisors of both the Adult ICU and NICU/PICU.
The opening program featured Dr. Nhamier Jikiri, the new Officer-in-Charge Provincial Health Officer II. This was followed by inspiring remarks from former Provincial Health Officer II, Dr. Fahra A. Tan-Omar, MHA, whose visionary leadership and unwavering dedication as department head were instrumental in bringing the Critical Care Unit to life.
Messages were also delivered by Dr. Ahkhramien Hassan, Chief of Medical Professionals, and Dr. Nehama Nemertina Tan-Singki, Officer-in-Charge Chief of Hospital. The program concluded with closing remarks from Dr. Shalima Abdurajan, Head of NICU/PICU.
The celebration wrapped up with interactive games, special awards, and heartfelt appreciation for the collective efforts of the entire Critical Care team.
