Congratulations to Ms. Francia M. Jayco, RM, for successfully completing the Newborn Screening Training held last May 20–22, 2025 in Legazpi City, Albay! As part of her training, she also conducted actual heel prick procedures at Bicol Regional Hospital and Medical Center (BRHMC) and Sorsogon Provincial Hospital.

This milestone enhances our commitment to early detection and management of rare, but serious, congenital disorders in newborns. By identifying these conditions at birth, we can help ensure timely treatment and give every child the healthiest possible start in life.
