CPSU WITH PHILIPPINE RED CROSS NOBCCC FEEDING PROGRAM⛑️

Today’s event was filled with meaningful learning and service! Participants attended a lecture on Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), gaining important knowledge on staying healthy. We also learned about the inspiring history and mission of the Red Cross, followed by a special feeding program that provided meals for children. The day ended with another informative Red Cross lecture, highlighting the importance of humanitarian work and how we can all make a difference in our communities.

Together with us, the NOBCC Chapter Administrator, Miss Rita Benita P Mirasol, thank you for sharing your valuable message and knowlegde.

We give thanks to Sir Jarlie Alucitain for sharing lectures towards Cpsu Non-teaching personnel and Ma’am Mary Joy Ramos from Volunteer services.

FLP DEPLOYMENT 2025

During the 18th Future Leaders of the Philippines (FLP) Local Convention, held at Central Philippines State University, the spirit of volunteerism and readiness was once again exemplified by the Red Cross Youth (RCY).

As excitement reached its peak during the Hip Hop Dance, Solo and Vocal Duet and Arnis Anyo competitions, the RCY team stood at the ready, ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. In the heat of the activity, four (4) individuals were immobilized due —three (3) females and one (1) male among them.

Thanks to the swift and efficient response of our Red Cross Youth, all cases were addressed with utmost care and professionalism. Their presence not only brought relief but also inspired fellow students with the importance of service, preparedness, and compassion.

The event served as both a test and a triumph for our youth volunteers. In moments of high energy and competition, they proved themselves calm, capable, and committed—true future leaders in their own right.

As the National SCUAA Games 2025 draws near, we take immense pride in celebrating one of our very own—John Gerald Mora Bernales, a dedicated Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences (ABSS) student and an active Red Cross Youth volunteer. He will be representing Central Philippines State University (CPSU) on the national stage, competing in the swimming category.

With unwavering determination, discipline, and the heart of a true Cenphilian, John Gerald embodies the spirit of sportsmanship and service. His journey as both an athlete and a humanitarian reflects the values we uphold as a university—excellence, integrity, and compassion.

We are honored to announce that the Central Philippines State University - Kabankalan College Red Cross Youth has been formally recognized as a Certified Member of the City Youth Development Council of Kabankalan City and issued last year May 11, 2024.

With this recognition, we will continue our commitment to inspiring youths, developing leadership, and making a significant contribution to our community. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has guided us along the journey, especially to this council, for believing in our goal and vision.

𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐄 𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐋 2025

On April 2, 2025, a fire drill was successfully conducted at Central Philippine State University-Main Campus headed by the Bureau of Fire Protection Kabankalan in collaboration with the CPSU Fire Brigade Organization. The activity aimed to promote fire safety awareness, improve emergency response, and ensure that all participants are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed during fire-related incidents. It served as a vital training experience that emphasized the importance of coordination, readiness, and quick action in times of crisis.

Special thanks to our University Nurse, Kristine C. Duran, MAN for her unwavering support and valuable contribution, which greatly helped in the smooth and effective ex*****on of the drill.
