KABANKALAN CITY. Lorenzo D. Zayco District Hospital joins the Breastfeeding Month Celebration this August.

This August 15, 2025, LDZDH, through its Nursing Service Department, conducted series of events to promote breastfeeding and its benefits to mothers and especially to their babies.

A radio guesting at 99.7 Brigada Kabankalan with Dr. Milavi Lopez as resource person. On the program she tackled the various benefits of breastfeeding, its importance especially to babies, and many others.

Later that day, a program for mothers and babies was conducted at the OPD area of LDZDH. Dr. Lopez was also tapped as the resource person of the event. She likewise gave insights to the many benefits of breastfeeding.

The theme for this year’s Breastfeeding Month Celebration is, “One Breastfeeding Philippines: Yakap Hakab; Prioritize Breastfeeding: Create Sustainable Support Systems”.

KABANKALAN CITY. Lorenzo Zayco District Hospital opens the weeklong National Hospital Week Celebration this August 4-8, 2025 with the start of its Sportsfest Activities.

This year's theme, "𝓗𝓸𝓼𝓹𝓲𝓽𝓪𝓵: 𝓐 𝓗𝓮𝓪𝓵𝓽𝓱𝔂 𝓦𝓸𝓻𝓴𝓹𝓵𝓪𝓬𝓮 𝓯𝓸𝓻 𝓪𝓵𝓵 𝓼𝓪 𝓑𝓪𝓰𝓸𝓷𝓰 𝓟𝓲𝓵𝓲𝓹𝓲𝓷𝓪𝓼", recognizes the importance of the healthcare workers in achieving Universal Health Care for all Filipinos.

Meanwhile, in LDZDH, for its Hospital Week Celebration, it kicked off its Sportsfest Activities with a ceremonial torch relay and lighting of the cauldron. It was followed by the Oath of Sportsmanship and a Zumba Dance session.
