GRAND WINNER IN THE IIARI INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH COMPETITION 2025

We proudly celebrate our outstanding BSPh4 students — Wency Uriel Reyes, Kiana Marie Ascura, Karen Mae Malacad, Francis Joseph Gabinete, and Irish Angela Patron — for being hailed as the GRAND WINNER in the International Research Competition organized by the Institute of Industry and Academic Research Incorporated (IIARI).

With the guidance of their dedicated research adviser Sir Laurence Tapican, facilitator Jennica Marie L. Valencia, IRADO Director and Dean Richie G. Bayuran, this exceptional team demonstrated excellence on an international stage.

The competition received entries from the USA, South Korea, Mongolia, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and the Philippines, making their victory even more meaningful and globally recognized.

From 77 submitted papers, narrowed down to 56, then to the Top 10, our students rose to the top and emerged as the Grand Winner. Their win was determined through stringent evaluation criteria: 60% research paper, 10% panel interview, and 30% 3MT (Three-Minute Thesis) Presentation.

Your achievement brings immense pride and honor to our institution. Congratulations once again!

Institutional Pharmacy Practice at the House of Representatives: Empowering Student Pharmacists Through Legislative Insight

SGCSOP Student Pharmacists were given a valuable opportunity to engage with the House of Representatives, where healthcare, governance, and public service come together. Through this Institutional Pharmacy Practice exposure, they observed firsthand how policies and legislation shape the pharmacy profession and the country’s healthcare system.
This transformative experience expanded their appreciation of pharmacy’s role within government institutions and inspired them to become advocates for patient welfare, community health, and responsible pharmacy practice.

Thank you very much to the House of Representative of the Philippines for this enlightening and impactful experience.

During this Institutional Pharmacy Practice exposure, they experienced how pharmacy services function within a highly specialized government environment—where accuracy, confidentiality, and commitment to national service come together.
This enriching experience reinforces our commitment to producing competent, ethical, and socially responsible Gabrielian Pharmacists who are ready to serve in diverse healthcare settings.

To strengthen our support, we prepared Board Exam Kits for each examinee—filled with essentials and heartfelt encouragement. ✨

We also held a special mass earlier to pray for guidance, clarity, and confidence for all our board takers.

And to make our support even more meaningful, two of our faculty members traveled to Iloilo City to be physically present for our examinees—showing them that the Saint Gabriel Pharmily is with them every step of the way. 🤝✨

Registration of Animal Facilities and Feed Establishments for Business Permit and Licensing Officers (BPLOs) and State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in the Province of Aklan
🗓️ November 13, 2025

The activity was successfully conducted to enhance the awareness and compliance of BPLOs and SUCs in the registration process of animal facilities and feed establishments in accordance with regulatory standards.

The event was attended by Ms. Jennica Marie Valencia (Research Coordinator of Pharmacy Department) and Dr. Lyle Ibabao ( High School Principal), along with representatives from various local government units and academic institutions across the province.
