WE PRAY | With the recent calamities, Typhoon Opong and the earthquake that struck the country, particularly in the Visayas, we are reminded of our need for faith, unity, and hope. As we begin the month of October, the Month of the Holy Rosary, we turn to our Blessed Mother, seeking her intercession and comfort in these trying times. We pray through her to the Lord, asking for healing, strength, and protection for our land and our people. May this sacred month inspire us to deepen our devotion, strengthen our communities, and rebuild with courage and compassion.

The PRC Aklan Chapter successfully executed a CPR Caravan on September 28, 2025, transforming 68 community members into potential lifesavers. 🎉

​By holding the event at the 601st Community Defense Center, 6RCDG, Reserve Command, Philippine Army, Camp Jesus M. Jizmundo, Barangay Libas, Banga, Aklan, the project directly empowers the reserve military force with crucial civilian rescue skills, enhancing their readiness not just in defense but in humanitarian crises. 😍

​Thank you to our dedicated team of 5 mobilized Red Cross personnel (1 Staff and 4 Volunteers), working under the leadership of Elisa A. Garcia, CSR-SS, and Mary Joe B. Galeon, Chapter Administrator. 🥰

On September 25, 2025, the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Aklan Chapter conducted a successful CPR Caravan, training 317 participants (145 males, 172 females) across two locations. This initiative highlights the chapter's commitment to empowering communities with a crucial, life-saving skill. 🤹✨

​The training sessions were held at:

📌 ​Garcia College of Technology in Estancia, Kalibo, Aklan, where 103 individuals (51 males, 52 females) were trained.

📌 ​Bachao Norte Integrated School in Bachao Norte, Kalibo, Aklan, with 214 participants (94 males, 120 females).

By teaching more people how to perform CPR, the PRC is building a network of everyday heroes who are ready to respond in an emergency and make a critical difference in someone's life. 🫰

​The caravan was led by PRC Aklan Chapter Service Representative for Safety Services, Elisa A. Garcia, and Chapter Administrator, Mary Joe B. Galeon. A dedicated team of six mobilized personnel (two staff and four volunteers) ensured the training was a success. 🎉

The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Aklan Chapter successfully conducted a CPR Caravan on September 24, 2025, reaching a total of 284 participants (79 males, 205 females). 👌

​The caravan was held at two separate locations:

📌 ​Bacan National High School in Bacan, Banga, Aklan, where 140 participants (44 males, 96 females) attended.

📌 ​Saint Gabriel College in Old Buswang, Kalibo, Aklan, with 144 participants (35 males, 109 females).

​The caravan was led by PRC Aklan Chapter Administrator, Ms. Mary Joe B. Galeon and PRC Aklan Chapter Service Representative for Safety Services, Ms. Elisa A. Garcia. A team of five mobilized personnel (two staff and three volunteers) ensured the smooth implementation of the caravan. 🎉
