Kids with Cerebral Palsy are still Kids.

Nothing less !

The Provincial Government of Cotabato under the leadership of Governor Emmylou β€œLala” J. TaliΓ±o-Mendoza through the NCD Program of the Integrated Provincial Health Office headed by Dra. Eva C.Rabaya, successfully conducted the Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month Celebration at the Heritage Plaza, Magpet, Cotabato. The aim of this activity is to highlight the individuals living with this condition, that they are seen as part of the community by promoting inclusivity, combat discrimination and stigma .

Services offered during this activity includes Free consultation with Dra. Nelma Magpusao, a Pediatric Neurologist , lecture about Basic Oral Health Care , Physical rehabilitation , home education, needs assessment and giving of sensory toys . Aside from these , the caregivers and parents were able to avail free medical consultation with Dr. Patrick Julius Paccal, Rural Health Physician of IPHO.

With the assistance and support from the LGU-RHU of Magpet , Provincial DOH DMO Mercita J.Salamida and Physical Therapists from DOH-CHD XII with Senior Health Program Officer Zandro C.Casado, PTRP as team head together with other PTs from South Cotabato,Sultan Kudarat
and Cotabato Province.
