As we reflect on the challenges many are facing in the wake of the recent typhoon, it’s essential to remember that empathy matters now more than ever.

For some, this is just a storm, but for others, it’s life-changing. The aftermath of the recent typhoon reminds us that while some may feel safe and secure, others are grappling with devastating losses and uncertainties.

Privilege is not universal, but empathy can be. We shouldn’t forget that we all have different struggles and experiences.
