MESSAGE FROM THE COLLEGE PRESIDENT
September 19, 2025
Re: Call for Accountability and Good Governance
Ang bawat pagnanakaw sa kaban ng bayan ay pagnanakaw sa pagkakataong makapag-aral ang ating kabataan. As an academic community, the resounding message is clear: corruption must end now!
Over the years, we have seen the impact of the abuse of public funds to education and other social services given to the people. What could have been used to address the learning crisis and to elevate the quality and access to education have been wasted on infrastructure projects which are either substandard or non existent.
Today, September 19, all Leaders are to wear white and on Sunday, September 21, all Leaders are to wear black. This symbolic gesture is in unison with the rest of the stakeholders calling for accountability and good governance.
To hold those in power accountable for their action is not only a constitutionally guarded principle but a necessary feature of a well functioning and living democracy. Meanwhile, we acknowledge that the desire for good governance transcends religion, political affiliations and generational differences -- this concerns all of us.
Thus, it is of transcendental importance that those who plundered public funds be prosecuted and be held liable and that these funds be recovered back to our treasury so that it may be used for education and other worthy endeavors that will uplift the lives of the Filipino people.
Nakikiisa sa Bayan at sa di korap na pamumuno,
Teacher Rj Sustiguer
