Please be informed that the DOLE XII – South Cotabato Field Office will be closed on 05 September 2025 in line with the suspension of work in government offices in observance of Maulidin Nabi (Birthday of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.).

🧐 What happens after submission?
Once your Information Sheet is reviewed by a Katarungan Officer, the Katarungan Officer will:
• Proceed to give legal counseling based on your concern; and/or
• Refer or endorse your case to the appropriate office or agency for further action, as the case may be.

🤝 Mediation Services:
DOJAC XII also provides mediation services for cases where both parties agree to voluntarily negotiate and resolve differences through discussions at the mediation table. This is a peaceful alternative to litigation that helps parties reach an agreement without going to court.

𝐆𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 | 𝐒𝐎𝐂𝐎𝐓 𝐖𝐎𝐃𝐏 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐁𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲, 𝐌𝐎𝐀 𝐈𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐝

City of Koronadal – Department of Labor and Employment Region XII Director Joel M. Gonzales urged two (2) new scholars under the Workers Organization Development Program (WODP) Isabelo Delos Reyes (IDR) Scholarship grant to focus on their educational pursuit for a brighter future.

“This is not an accident, we are all here to finally open doors for our new scholars and make their dreams come true. What we would like to request these two new scholars are for them to finish their studies,” RD Gonzales said.

He also thanked the Labor Employees’ Association of DoleFil Polomolok Hourlies (Lead.PH) and Dole-Stanfilco- Surallah Banga Workers’ Labor Union for the cooperation, involvement and the continued partnership paving the way to extend assistance to union members and their families.

Luciana Tanaya, mother of WODP Scholar Mary Rose Jade F. Tanaya and union member under Dole Stanfilco-SBWLU expressed her gratitude to DOLE-XII for considering her daughter for the said scholarship.

“Dakong tabang na sa among pamilya ang scholarship, hinaut nga makahuman gyud ug eskuwela ang akong anak. Daghang salamat DOLE ug sa among union,” Tanaya said.

Ms. Tanaya will be taking up Bachelor of Technical Vocational Teachers Education Major in Food and Service Management at the South Cotabato State College, Surallah, South Cotabato, while her fellow scholar Jan Renan M. Batiancila of Lead.Ph will be studying Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation at the Regency Polytechnic College, Inc., City of Koronadal.

The Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing which happened on 29 July 2025 was also witnessed by SCFO Field Office Head Engineer Romerico P. Carrasco, Union Presidents Ronnie Pastorite and Jimmy Geronio, and other stakeholders.

Educational Grants is one of the components under the WODP which aims to provide educational opportunities to officers and members including their dependents for self-development, growth and be effective change agents in their organization and in their personal life. Through these educational grants, those eligible may aim for improved skill sets which could lead to greater job prospects and career advancement.
