𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐍𝐎𝐖 | A Mass Blood Donation Activity under the 𝐃𝐮𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝐎𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 is currently taking place today, March 4, 2026, at the Pacman Gym in Norala, South Cotabato, in line with the celebration of the 𝟕𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐄𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟖𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟏𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐊𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐧 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥

The activity is led by Lanelita Deita, MD, Municipal Health Officer of Norala, with the support of Mayor Clemente B. Fedoc, bringing together volunteer donors from the community to help sustain a safe and adequate blood supply for patients in need of transfusion and emergency care.

𝐁𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐇𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 | Following the recent assessment and evaluation conducted by the Department of Health Region XII and Cotabato Regional Medical Center (CRMC), the South Cotabato Provincial Hospital (SCPH) Blood Bank carried out a benchmarking activity at the SOCCSKSARGEN Regional Blood Center.

The activity was headed by Dr. Sherjan P. Kalim, MD, FPSP, MHcA, Blood Bank Head and Pathologist of the SOCCSKSARGEN Regional Blood Center, as part of efforts to further strengthen blood banking operations and align with recommended best practices and quality standards.

𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗕𝗜𝗦𝗬𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗔𝗬 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗢: 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝗮 𝗭𝗲𝗿𝗼, 𝗡𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝘁𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗼

Mula sa kawalan noong 2019, ngayon ay may tatlumpu nang hemodialysis machines na nagsisilbi sa iba’t ibang distrito ng lalawigan. Sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Gobernador Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr., naitatag ang mga dialysis center sa Koronadal para sa 2nd District, Norala para sa 3rd District, at Polomolok para sa 1st District.

Ito ay patunay ng konkretong pagtugon ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan sa pangangailangang medikal ng mga mamamayan, lalo na ng mga pasyenteng may sakit sa bato. Mas napalapit at mas naging abot-kamay ang serbisyong pangkalusugan para sa mga South Cotabateño. Hindi na kailangang bumiyahe nang malayo upang makatanggap ng regular na gamutan.

Mula sa pangako tungo sa aktuwal na serbisyo, malinaw na naipapakita ang malasakit at mahusay na pamamahala na may tunay na resulta para sa komunidad. Ito ang serbisyong may resibo—nakikita, nararamdaman, at pinakikinabangan ng taumbayan.

𝐈𝐍 𝐅𝐎𝐂𝐔𝐒 | As part of the Coffee Table Book 2026 (First Semester Edition) documentation, the Provincial Information Office conducted an in-depth interview on February 27, 2026 with Ms. Lillien A. Gonio, RN, RM, BSM – Nurse II and MBFHF1 Coordinator, alongside Ma’am Francy Aguilar, RND.

The interview highlighted key breastfeeding programs and initiatives that champion maternal and child health, strengthen community awareness, and promote a culture of support for breastfeeding mothers.
